I have taught this many, many times to gay leathermen who were planning to run for a leather title such as International Mr. Leather. It is a form of nonverbal communication, conveyed from quite a long distance away.
Each time that I demonstrate it in public on a major thoroughfare, all of the folks in cars coming up to pass me can’t help but turn their eyes toward me. It is a subtle but very effective way of communicating confidence and poise, but from a surprisingly far distance. So, if you step out on stage, everybody stops talking and focuses upon you, and in a very good way.
It’s truly effective. I developed this decades ago, and recorded this tutorial in 2013.
