Hillcrest |
Hillcrest encompasses the left side of our map of central San Diego.
For the sake of simplicity, I haven't tried to differentiate University Heights (the upper area north of Hillcrest on the map) or other neighborhoods like North Park, Normal Heights, or others. I can only do so much on such a small area.
Hillcrest is the well-known "gay neighborhood", though it's surrounded by miles and miles of densely-populated and well-integrated neighborhoods.
