The ONE Institute & Archives houses the world's largest research library on 
Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgendered heritage and concerns.

The LALC  is a coalition of Southern California Area leather identified organizations  and businesses focused on increasing communication among differing elements of the Southern California Fetish Community and improving visibility and prominence of the Los Angeles Leather Community.

How the voting will be conducted:

Nominations will be accepted via this form from January 1, 2004 through February 15, 2004.  

At the March meeting of the Los Angeles Leather Coalition, nominees will be presented to the Coalition representatives. Each LALC member organization will have 1 vote in each of the 7 categories. The chair and vice chair of the LALC will tally the results - which are then to remain secret until the awards are presented at The Southland Honors event on Friday March 26th at the ONE Institute during the Southland Honors event.

The Southland Honors event is included in the LA Leather 2004 Weekend Package – which is available on-line (www.LALeatherWeekend.com) for $99.  Space & tickets are limited for the Southland Honors event, so please purchase your package soon.

Evening Dress Code

This is a traditional and formal leather event, and as such attendees are expected to wear formal leather, uniform, or club colors.  To maintain the integrity and spirit of the event the following are considered inappropriate: fetish gear, latex/rubber, bare-ass chaps, or other attire that distracts from the traditional leather atmosphere.  Questions or concerns about this may be addressed to this email address

We encourage interested parties to attend our meetings - generally held the first Thursday of the month 
 at 7:30 PM at  the Ed Gould Village of the LA Gay and Lesbian Center.
