9:00pm to Midnight
San Diego Eagle
Support the venue, otherwise free to attend
Join us on the First Friday of October from 9 to Midnight at the San Diego Eagle where our Brother Jerry, along with a few other FMSD Members, will be demonstrating flogging, paddling, and other forms of physical impact play!
This is your chance to learn what it's like to find pleasure in different sensations. The sting of a paddle as it collides with your ass, or the thud of a flogger while it brushes against your back before a quick crack sends tingling across all of your senses. Who knows, you might like it more than you thought.
This past weekend was Folsom Street Fair 2017; for those who missed it, I (Doriam) just wanted to share a little bit about the experience with you all. As it was my first time, there were a lot of things that I got to see and experience that I had not expected, I'll keep this short -- if you have any interest in reading the full experience, contact me and I will link you to the Blog Post elsewhere where I talk about the entire trip.
The weekend started on Friday with a trip to Mr. S Leather, which was FLOODED with men from end-to-end, shopping for new gear for the weekend. As a young pup, my tail was a-waggin' once I made my way over to the Puppy Park section where I stumbled upon several new pieces of gear for the weekend, including a new Woofy Tail and Jock Holster! Not too far from Mr. S, we found ourselves at Leather Etc. where members of my Family found new harnesses, kilts, arm bands, vests and more at a FRACTION of the cost at Mr. S.
Later that evening, we made our way to Worn Out West where we found amazing deals on Toys on consignment, leather pants and chaps, latex shirts, former year Folsom tee's and so much more! I recommend it as a MUST the next time you're in the Castro. After dinner that evening, we made our way to the San Francisco Eagle (Eagle Tavern) where we were able to wear our new gear and make new friends who were locals, or visiting for Folsom Street Fair! I, unfortunately, missed out on the KUF (Kinksters Under Forty) party, but heard it was a great time from gentleman I met the rest of the time!
The following night, we saw the Baloney Boys at Oasis, and if you've never been to an All-Male Revue - make it a POINT to go watch these guys next time you're in San Francisco! The show was worth every penny! After the show, I made my way over for the All-Male Party hosted by The 15 Association. Their play space was everything I could have imagined and more, between the aesthetic, the focus and the energy exchange happening between all of the men playing that evening, I can't put in to words how perfect of a party it was! Not to mention, many of our own FMSD Member's made their way to the same party!
Sunday's Street Fair was full of amazing performances, kinksters hanging from street signs, locked in
cages, flogged by Mr. S Employees, vendors from all corners of the Kink-iverse were floating around happy to share in this experience with our Brothers and Sisters. There were LIVE performances from the Models from Steamworks, Men and Women walking around entirely in the nude, I might have even caught a few back alley blow jobs while walking down the street! But what's most important was that everyone who was attending FSF was there to enjoy one another, everyone was free to express their fetishes, their happiness, with people who they might have otherwise completely disregarded. It was an energy throughout the city blocks that FSF occupied, where it didn't matter if this was your first event EVER, or if you'd been doing this for your entire life. We were all brothers, sisters, cousins and friends - if even just for the day.
On the way home, I contacted many of the leaders for FMSD and my uncles, mentors, and teachers in the community to express my gratitude for their teaches. The excitement of being a First-Timer at FSF has gotten me excited to introduce some of our brothers next year to Folsom -- but now I'm getting ahead of myself, just scroll down to the Special Announcement for more on that. If you have never been to Folsom Street Fair, Dore Alley, or any kink conference at that, I need you to do something, not for me, but for YOU. I need you to make it a GOAL to attend FSF or DA, and experience it first hand.
