Thursday, May 8, 7PM: Club X is hosting an Electrosex workshop at Joyce Beers this Thursday evening. The presenter will be raffling off a new electrical toy; all attendees will be entered to win!



Thursday, May 8, 9PM:  FBSD Kickoff Social/Red Hankies Night at the @ the Eagle, at 3040 North Park Way.

Expect a VERY sociable time.  Most times, a man arrives lonely, or unsure, or feeling awkward and shy.

The First Annual San Diego Bartenders Bash will be an annual celebration for all those that tend/work in a bar and for those bar flies that keep us happy.  Very Casual, PURPLE ATTIRE SUGGESTED !!!  Vendors with samples and giveaways TBA! Proceeds from the cover charge will be donated to charity.

This year it is May 17th and 18th, with the parade taking place on the morning of the 18th.. Saturday, May 17, 6 PM: International Mr. and Ms Olympus Leather 2014 Contest

Doors open at 5 PM

Los Angeles Ballroom on the second floor of the Hilton LAX on Century Blvd.

Approximately 12 men and women will compete for this International title. Each will present tantalizing fantasies on stage.

You can attend International Mr. and Ms Olympus Leather 2014 without missing Long Beach LGBT Pride Parade and Festival. The contest will be over in time to make it back to Long Beach for the late parties and the parade on Sunday morning.

Sun May 18th at 11am: Monthly Community Brunch at Sunset Temple.  The cost is $20.  Net proceeds to be split between The Leather Foundation and The Imperial Court of San Diego.  We are honoring Tom Dickerson for his work with both organizations.

May 22nd: Commemorative Postage Stamp release day: San Diego's team of champions have arm-twisted those in charge, so that we are FINALLY getting a Harvey Milk Forever postal stamp.

Saturday, May 24 from 1-3pm: The second practice is a pansexual party (including gay males, since folks have been asking)!  The team is getting bigger! Bring a towel if you want a swim after! Friday, May 30, 6PM: The Second Annual Family Reunion Weekend kicks off with an informal dinner at an excellent, inexpensive restaurant. If we get enough interested folks, then it will be a buffet. We need an RSVP beforehand at SignMeUpForEvent @gmail.com, so that we can negotiate a lower group rate and a buffet.



Saturday, May 31, 12 Noon: Flog Swarm.  As of May 23, we have 82 participants signed up, with more RSVP'ing every day. It's going to be magnificent, fun, and utterly Tribal. We will be asking for an optional charitable donation at the door - 100% of proceeds go to charity.  Details.



Saturday, May 31, 6:30PM: Gear Invasion Dinner at Harvey Milk's Diner.  There will be a Master's Cap Presentation Ceremony, lots of out-of-town guests, and excellent food. Dress up if you've got it!

Saturday, May 31, 9PM: Movie Night. Meet outside of the North Park Birch Theater for the Gear Contest and Group Photo. Then, once we go inside, it's time for announcements and a few Folsom Street Fair stories.  Then, it's time for Folsom Forever, with a Director's Q&A after the movie.  After THAT, we will head on over to the Eagle (a couple of blocks away) to discuss the movie.



June 6-8: Los Angeles Pride, with the parade on SUNDAY, June 8.

June 20-22: SoCal LeatherSIR, Leatherboy, Community Bootwhite & Puppy Contest Weekend, at Queen Bee's Art & Cultural Center, 3925 Ohio St., San Diego, California 92104 (one block north of the Eagle)

Southern California Leather Sir/boy, Community Bootwhite and Puppy Contest will be held at Queen Bee’s in San Diego, CA June 20-22 2014. This is a feeder contest for International Leather Sir/boy and Community Bootwhite to be held in Dallas TX, Labor Day Weekend, in August/September 2014. Contestants will be judged on interviews, speeches, stage presence, fantasy of their choice, and a text-messaging tally for popular votes.  Contestants will be assigned a text number to provide to their supporters.  Based on the number of text votes, a score will be added to their final tally.  Contestant sponsors and financial backers are encouraged to assist with the travel fund purse to the international contest.

Friday, June 20th, at 9:00pm the San Diego boys of Leather and Mr. San Diego Eagle will host a Meet and Greet/Contestant and Judges Introductions at the San Diego Eagle.

Saturday June 21st, doors to Queen Bees will open at 7:00 for art show, vendors, cocktails and contestant mingling.  The contest will start at 8:00pm.

Sunday, June 22nd, the winners will be presented at a community picnic/fund raiser at Morley Field or a TBD location from 1:00 to 5:00pm.

October 18-19: Bearquake in San Diego. BearQuake grew out of an idea of forming an alliance between the various clubs in Southern California and elsewhere. A "Bear Weekend" was planned where we could all get together and get to know each other. A contest was also held for Mr. So Cal Bear and Cub. The success of that first event opened the door to future gatherings which has become "BearQuake".




October 30 - November 2: Desert Leather Pride in Palm Springs

Note: This is a BIG CHANGE in the scheduling, since this usually happens on the SECOND weekend of the month  - Make a note of it!

January 16-19, 2015: Mid-Atlantic Leather Weekend

Mid-Atlantic Leather Weekend is a three-day long party and event with participants that now number in the thousands. The heart of the weekend is the historic leather formal Saturday evening cocktail social, Leather Cocktails. Leather Cocktails is the weekend lynchpin gathering from which all other weekend events evolved.

The Weekend also includes official events organized by weekend hosts, Centaur MC that include a bustling Leather Exhibit Hall; Sunday brunch; Mr. MAL Contest and the official Sunday night closing party, REACTION. In addition, Weekend hosts provide hotel space for what has evolved into a huge leather-loving community and affinity annual reunion. Weekend participants may purchase a full weekend package that includes access to all events. Tickets to a few select events are sold separately.
