Mr. San Diego Eagle 2012 Contest

From Mr. San Diego Eagle 2013 Robb Rodd:

MORE NEWS ABOUT..... The Mr. San Diego Eagle 2014 contest will be bigger than ever. “It will be a 4-day event for the entire leather community,” says Robb Rodriguez the current Mr. San Diego Eagle. The event runs from February 20 to 23.

The main contest activities will held at Sunset Temple auditorium. “We’re moving the venue of the contest to the Sunset Temple because we’re expecting a large crowd to attend. Already we’ve heard from people from as far away as Phoenix that they’re going to attend. And one of our judges is from Minnesota while another is from Georgia.”

The 7 judges for this year's contest are an all-star group of titleholders. Head judge will be International Mr. Leather Andy Cross. Other judges are: American Leatherman Aaron Duke, Mr. International Deaf Leather boy Richard, Mr. San Diego Leather2013 /Mr. San Diego Eagle 2012 Eli Correa, Ms. San Diego Leather 2013 Colt Everyday, Eagle LA Mr. Leather 2013 Bill Robertroy and Mr. Minneapolis Eagle 2013 Ryan Brown.

Another change in the Mr. San Diego Eagle 2014 schedule is that the traditional Friday Meet and Greet will feature a leather fashion show and auction. “We all know that the meet and greet can be deadly,” comments contest producer Russ Mortenson Boyd. "We want to make it more of an activity of more than a 10 minute in and out." Rob has arranged for a fashion show that will present leather/kink fashions for the upcoming year, with some pieces available for purchase (the model not included). Already 10 stores have signed up to provide leather apparel for the show.

The contest events will kick off on Thursday, Feb. 20, with an Eagle appreciation night. Hosted by Robb and Russ, both of whom are Mr. San Diego Eagles, the night will recognize those who have served the San Diego leather/kink community over the years by holding activities at the San Diego Eagle or are Mr. San Diego Eagle titleholders. The appreciation night will be held at the San Diego Eagle bar.

Friday, Feb. 21 will be the Meet and Greet/Leather Fashion Show and Auction. This will be a fundraiser for The Leather Foundation so a $10 cover will be charged. It will be held at the Sunset Temple and begins at 8 pm.

Saturday, Feb, 22, will be the Mr. San Diego Eagle Contest at the Sunset Temple.MORE NEWS ABOUT.....
