2013-03-09 FMSD - Gear Invasion of Mo's Universe

"Mo's Universe" refers to the five local bars & restaurants owned by a SUPER-effective team of men who have the power to buy a venue that nobody else can successfully keep open for more than a year, and then they hit big success there for decades. The five venues are:
Gossip Grill (San Diego's only lesbian bar, after the Flame closed and was demolished)
Urban Mo's (formerly Hamburger Mary's, until the franchise payments became burdensome). In the early 1990's, it was a HUGELY popular gay Country-Western dance bar.
Baja Betty's, a very popular Mexican restaurant.
Hillcrest Brewing Company, a pizza-and-beer place that is ALWAYS BUSY.
Inside Out, the newest, high-level classy dining place.
Since the owners of these venues are utterly supportive of the community, they never say no when we ask if we can do something fun like this event.
