2012-08-15 FMSD Movie Night, Featuring Past IML Contestants

The movie was "Kink Crusaders" a documentary about the International Mr. Leather Contest, held every Memorial Day weekend in Chicago. The movie was shown at the big movie theater near the corner of 30th and University in San Diego. I had promoted it on my huge email list, so it was a kinky crowd that showed up.
The first thing that we did was to assemble the crowd photo.
Then, our esteemed judges assessed contestants for a Gear Competition.
After that, I called upon each individual man in the audience who had ever stepped onto the stage in Chicago, and represented San Diego in competition for the International Mr. Leather title. I wanted him to get another round of applause, and to relive some happy memories.
Then, we saw the movie, and engaged in some Q&A with the directors afterward.
Finally, we headed two blocks east to the Eagle, where we exchanged our movie ticket stubs for a free shot.
It was a delightful evening!
