We have some exciting times ahead of us for the 2012 Hard Edge - Beyond the Realm weekend.
This is a weekend event for advanced players of all orientations. The workshops presented will be on subjects that are not SM 101 topics. This will be an opportunity for those that want to explore the edge of play and beyond. The Hard Edge will feature nationally known presenters from all over the US. This event is for registered attendees 18 years and older only with valid identification. The mission of The Hard Edge Event is to bring advanced subject matter to the more experienced player and to push the boundaries of what has been demonstrated and taught in the past. We will do this in a conscientious and straightforward manner, trusting in the maturity and open mindedness of the attendees.

They want to share with you their experience, their passion, their fetish and their pure love of the leather life. Workshop#1 Friday 1/27 8:30pm to 11:30pm
” Shit or Get off the Pot
~ Spiritual liberation or just a shitty idea; digesting, creating movement, and releasing for the purpose of cleansing oneself of the waste that no longer serves. There are many ways to achieve transformation, during this workshop we will explore some often misunderstood means to achieve such release. This is a full participation workshop, exploring the transcendental journey through the excrement of self towards the lighter path of personal liberation.
~~Tommie StarChild has been an active member of the San Diego leather community for 11 years. In addition, he has been in the D/S, BD/SM lifestyle for 22years. He lived 24/7 in a DS relationship for 6 years, was Padric Halls’ boy for 1 year and grandson to Jo Blas. He was under the teaching of Ms. Cynthia for his 3rd year, and assisted for 2 year. In addition, he is a priest of the Anderson Feri tradition, has been practicing the magic arts for 18 years, and now owns My Authentic Self where he works as a spiritual counselor, Reiki Master, healer, teacher, artist, and crafter of magical jewelry.
Tommie is an educator, and skilled player – from light sensual to the edge and beyond. In the last 2 ½ he has presented on topics such as Art and Spirituality in SM play (including demo), Feri tradition, Authentic Self healing, meditation, polyrelationships, healthy relationship skills, needle play, playing safely with genital piercings, anal sex, fisting, lesbian safer sex, as well as all areas of safer sex.

We'll lovingly let you decide when we are done.
A to Z in definitions, terminology, protocols, and instructions on many absolute methods to get the proper answers to the "WTF!?!" questions at hand.
It will promise to be,
Spiritual,
Physical,
Psychological,
Emotional,
A very full plate of "WTF!?!" responses.
This beautiful journey starting from destination A to finishing at destination Z will be shared in the fullest capacity possible with attendees during this presentation.

~~Mistress Shae Flanigan has been a Lifestyle player for the past 15 years and a member of the Los Angeles and San Diego Kink and Leather communities since landing in California from the Pacific Northwest a little over five years ago. Since her arrival, she has been active as as an educator, board member, panelist, volunteer, Life Coach, Lifestyle Top and Professional Dominant and Community Liaison.

Workshop #4: Saturday 1/28- 8 p.m. – 11 p.m. Rough body punching is an interactive workshop that has been presented by Master Z at numerous events and venues around the country. A thorough explanation and demonstration on the art of rough body play is presented and hands-on experience will also be available to the participants of this energizing and sexy workshop. How to body punch, kick and face slap safely will be covered in detail.
~~ Master Z of Texas is a well known Dominant, Presenter and Leader in the Leather and BDSm scene. He is the International Master 2004 and travels all over the United States and Canada making presentations on the Master/slave-Leather lifestyle and BDSm technique. He has also served as a popular Keynote Speaker and Emcee for a number of events. He is the Owner of slave bill and slave kiki.
Master Z is Chairman and President of the Board of Directors for Butchmanns, Inc. and currently is the Director and Instructor for the Butchmanns Weekend Experience. He is the Producer and HeadMaster for boys Training Camps and Co-Producer of Masters Retreat.
In 2010, Master Z was the recipient of the Leather SINS, Inc., President’s Award. He was the recipient of the “Masters Heart Award” in 2006 and the “Leatherman’s Heart Award” in 2004. He is one of the Head of Household for the Texas Leather Tribe; a Leather family he shares responsibility for with his wonderful Leather Brothers, Master Roy and Master Glen.
Master Z is eternally grateful to his mentors, the late Master Dean Walradt and the late boy Patrick Chees, who taught him much of the Leather protocols and rituals that he cherishes today. Master Z is certain that his Leather Journey and BDSm experiences are directly related to his Spiritual Path.

Club X in 1994, serving 2 yrs. on the board of Club X, writer for
the "Chainlink", and 5 year volunteer staff for Leatherfest S.D. He Co-Directed
Leatherfest IX, was HeadMaster of SM-University for LF X and was Workshop
Coordinator of over 60 workshops for Leatherfest XI. David has served on several judging panels and his workshop talents have taken him to Denver's "Thunder in the Mtns." , Odessey 2000 in San Jose, Realm of the Leather Spectrum @ S.D. pride for 3 yrs., the Pain Guild & numerous Club X & leather events. Other
involvements include many Emcee opportunities including "Thunder in the Mtns." 2000 Mr./Ms. Rocky Mtn. Leather Contest, S.D. Butch Review & The Kinky Dating Game. Staff member for MIDORI-FEST, Interpreter for IMSL 97/99 and was named Mr. So. Calif. Fantasy 1999. He is truly honored to have received nomination for 5 Pantheon of Leather Awards between 2000/2001.
His most requested workshop especial is Mummification. It's all under the wraps that count.
Whether Emcee, Performer, Workshop Facilitator, Judge or Professional ASL Interpreter, David is one creative individual who gets the job done.
