Open to all adults (18+). Membership to Club X is not required. Photography or recording is NOT permitted. Be ready to present your government issued ID at the door.
Club X workshops are free for members, $5 for non-members although no one is turned away from any Club X educational events for lack of funds. No active involvement is required.
The Club X Workshop is held the 2nd Thursday of every month.

Workshop Description:
Flogging Beyond 101, Presented by Mike Van Horn and Alan Stroik
An interactive/hands-on workshop!
You've taken the beginning flogging class, bought the floggers, practiced and can even hit your target (most of the time). Now what?
Come join us for an evening to talk about the next step and bring your floggers with you. Learn how to hone your skills and improve your aim and technique. This is an interactive class for the flogger looking to take their skills up a few notches. There will be an hour of discussion followed by a demo and lots of practice/teaching time at the end.
Presenter Bio:
Alan has been active for over 20 years in the BDSM/leather community in his hometown of Milwaukee- and now in Los Angeles. He is a Past President of the Beer Town Badgers (Milwaukee, WI) and the Milwaukee Lesbian, Gay Pride Committee. He just finished his two year term as President of Avatar Club Los Angeles. He has served as an instructor for Avatar’s ALL (Avatar Leather Labs) classes on various topics including bondage, mummification, flogging, fisting, tit torture, electricity and many other subjects. Alan has been active as a rubber and leatherman. He is the first Gauntlett II Rubberman, West Coast Rubberman 2005 and First runner-up Mr. International Rubber 2006.
Mike has been involved in BD/SM for over 25 yrs, and active in the L.A. and Orange County areas for the last 8 yrs. He is a member of Avatar Club Los Angeles, serving on the board and teaching monthly classes in flogging, CBT, bondage, wax, electrical play, and other fun things. He’s also been involved in OCLA and Sampler, both as an organizer and presenter. Mike regularly serves on panels for college sexuality classes.
