2003-07-23 Bears SD in Pride Parade

From Papa Tony: I drove my black 1961 Imperial Crown Convertible in 23 San Diego Pride parades before I sold it. This was the only year that I drove with Bears San Diego. We did something very fun at the end of the parade. The men wanted to head across Balboa Park to retrive their own cars, but it was a long way to go on foot. So we piled EIGHTEEN corn-fed queens into and onto the car, and drove the long way downtown, and then across to Park Boulevard to the Balboa Hospital (AKA The Pink Palace) parking lot. We went very slowly, and I am surprised that the tailfins didn't mdrag on the ground!
