2003-05-14 Bears Dinner at Fiddler's Green Restaurant

Note from Papa Tony: Fiddler's Green was owned by the same heterosexual couple that owned the bar called The Hole. You couldn't imagine nicer folks. They happily allowed hundreds and hundreds of charity fundraisers to be hald on the Hole's stage, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars every year, mostly for AIDS charities.
Then, two self-important gay leathermen started up a boycott of the Hole, based on gossip that the owners had "disrespected" the local Leather community. Of course, it wasn't true. I arranged a meeting between all parties at the restaurant, and nothing changed those two windbags' minds. The situation deteriorated to the point where the couple SOLD The Hole, and the new owner demolished the stage, cutting off funds from dozens of charities, many of which had to go out of business. Sigh.
