This is going to be one of world's most unique leather parties, ever - Imagine 1500 leather folk on a huge cruise ship for 3 nights and 4 days, traveling from Long Beach, California to Ensenada, Mexico.
Contestants will be coming from all over the globe to compete for these fun and exciting titles. The International Cheeks and Chaps contests are always full of laughter, jokes, and audience-participation, with a lot of noise and merriment.
This titleholder contest has traditionally been held in San Francisco, starting in 1986. It spread throughout California very quickly, and is now International, with 19 regional Cheeks & Chaps titles in 4 different countries.
St. Clair Adams has been the producer of this event from the beginning, and now that he is living in San Diego, it's time for a change. The cruise was the perfect match. After ten years, this will be the first year that the International Cheeks & Chaps contest will be held aboard a cruise ship!
International Cheeks & Chaps has partnered up with North Park/Path Finders Travel (619-282-7636) to put on this shindig. Phil Doles of North Park Path Finders will be Cruise Director (AKA Julie), Tom Chavez "Mr. San Diego Leather 98" will be Assistant Producer, Lenny Broberg "International Mr. Leather 94" will be the Emcee, and St. Clair Adams, as Executive Producer. Reservations are now being taken by Phil Doles and the rooms are filling up fast.
