The judges selected Daniel Vandenbark as the 1st place winner, obtaining the title Mr. Pistons Leather 2001, to compete at IML. Daniel was also chosen by his fellow competitors as the best example of leather brotherhood.
Alex Marr was selected as the 2nd place winner, obtaining the title Pistons Leatherman 2001, to compete at American Brotherhood Weekend.
Jeffrey Cooper was the 3rd place winner, obtaining the Mr. Pistons Leather 2001 Runner-Up position.
Following a crowd hushing Star Spangled Banner, as sung by the angelic Queen Cougar, the contestants presented themselves, along with co-M/C's Sean Reilly and Scott Bloom in a tribute to Oscar Award winning film, gladiator, complete with Latin address by Mark Malan.
The Queen Mary luncheon was enjoyed by all who opted for the 4 Stroke package.

Addendum, April 1, 2001
Alex Marr has relinquished his title as Pistons Leatherman 2001 (being
Canadian, he is ineligble for the ABW contest), Jeffrey Cooper, as required
by his runner-upship, has stepped forward to take his place as the Pistons
Leatherman 2001, and ABW competitor.
Malan Enterprises, in light of this situation, has activated an as yet unused title "Long Beach Mr. Leather" and has appointed Alex Marr to serve as its first representative. Alex will be sent to compete at IML as Long Beach Mr. Leather 2001.
