Rm. 114 at the Center on Normal.

Homework -- Due March 3rd (you will be graded! Treats for those who bring theirs in! *hee*)

1) Bring in at least 5 thoughts, in detail, of what you are expecting of L.A.S.H.

2) Please decide what areas you would like to participate in as an active member of this Club:

Community Outreach -- Liaisons between various communities and reporting back to LASH on happenings that we all or some may be interesting in participating in. This can be anywhere: AIDS Hospices, House of Rachel, Auntie Helen's, Special Deliveries, The Imperial Court, TransAction, Read San Diego, Needle Exchange Program, Anti- Violence Project with the SDPD, NOW SM, etc. Time commitment: 2hrs per month

Volunteer's -- Needed for stuffing envelops, staffing booths at events, writing Thank You notes, setting appointments: Time commitment: 2-3 hrs monthly

Social Events -- Play Parties, potlucks, LASH's Anniversary Run, dances, bingo night, poker night, organizing our Club to attend events in mass, in town and out of town. Organizing the carpools. Sponsoring open socials at events like IML, IMsL, Folsom Street, Pantheon, American BrotherHood and any other of the hundreds of events held in the US. You also could be OUR representative at other events some of us don't get to go to. Time commitment: 5+ hrs per month depending upon event and number of volunteers

Newsletter -- This will be our link to each other. Some of us do not have email, and/or a phone. So, we would like a newsletter with graphics, taste (not scratch and lick **hee) poetry, stories, experiences of life - a written representation of Leather and SisterHood. -- Time Commitment: 5+ hrs per month depending upon Club participation and efficiency of developer. Computer/email *access* needed, not mandatory. There are many in the Club who has graphic abilities, so pleaseeeeeeeee let us see what you can do! Now is a time to create.

You have an idea of a job you'd like to do? Please let us know, and it's yours! Tupperware you might say - we've hosted them before - we have our very own TupperMaster in San Diego and he'll come to your home with blue, red, white and even black Tupperware to show all your friends - they make great close pin holders! All of these positions need as many volunteers as possible to make them happen.

We currently have 45 women on our list. That is 11 people per committee with various degrees of time commitment...I think we can do this. Don't be one who sits back waiting for it to be done for you - get involved. See you Wednesday night!!!
