Official LA Leather Meet & Greet @ The Gauntlet II
Come meet the 9 hot men who will be competing for
Mr. LA Leather 2003 – Stephen Blackwell, Rob G.,
Dan O’Leary, Chris Woods, Gannon Gray, Shawn
Smith, David Hearn, Rob Roberts, and Terry Demby.
They will be drawing their contestant numbers for next
Saturday night’s contest, and will be selling tickets as
well. This is also “Strictly Leather” night at the GII, so
you can expect lots of hot leather/fetish action in the
back room where the dress code is strictly enforced!
A roast of Mr LA Leather 2002 Daddy Don Anspauch
will also take place on the bar stage. Don’t miss this!!!

LAL Contestant Bar Crawl.
The LA9 will be making the rounds of the bars in the
Long Beach area tonight. Last week they hit LA/WeHo
Bars and had a blast. They were also very proud of the
fact that they were thrown out of West Hollywood’s most
swishy bar – The Abbey. We don’t know where/when
they will show up at this week, but you can bet they will
have a great time doing it.

Mr Los Angeles Leather 2003 Contest
El Rey Theater, 5515 Wilshire Boulevard Los Angeles.
Doors open at 7pm. Entertainment by Matty the Mutator,
and Eye of the Newt Circus
Leather dance to follow at 10:30pm the dj is Peter Barona.
Judges: Tony Mills, Steven Weber, RTB, Dale Bruenig,
Marci Schrader, Kent Arnold, Hillary Williams, Daddy
Don and David Taber.
2001 LAL hunk, Pete Fitz is the MC. Tickets $30.00 and

And Mr. LA Leather is...Stephen Blackwell !!!!!!!

Mr. Los Angeles Leather has come and gone and your new Mr. LA Leather
2003 is Stephen Blackwell, Gauntlet II Mr. Leather 2003, and the founder
of the LA Boys of Leather.p> In a close race, the 1st Runner Up was Terry Demby, Mr. Ashram West
2003, and 2nd Runner Up was Rob Roberts, Mr. Sister Leather 2003. This
was the second year in a row that the Gauntlet II Mr. Leather title has
gone on to win Mr. LA Leather and the third year in a row that the Mr.
Sister Leather titled has placed in the top 3.

With a capacity crowd at the El Rey Theater Saturday night, the 'LA-9'
put on a show that rivaled any regional contest around. The events
theme of "Black Fire" lived up to it's name complete with an opening
performance by the tribal musical group The Mutaytor, and a closing
aerialist act that had the crowd screaming for more - Eric & Sergiv's:
Eye of Newt Circus.

Dan O'Leary, Mr. Long Beach Leather Bear 2003, received the Brotherhood
Award and a surprise award was given to Shawn Farnsworth, owner of the
Faultline, for his years of dedication to the LAL Contest system.
After all the thank yous and awards were handed out 800 of the cities
hottest men danced and sweat the night away to the music of DJ Peter
Barona.

Thanks to all who participated in any way to make this night a success.
It was an event that soon will not be forgotten.
